Vijayalakshmi conducted a master-class at UCLA, where she introduced the students to the basic spirit and technique of Mohiniyattam. She also focussed on the complex facial expressions in Mohiniyattam.
TMI Performance for Archana Fundraiser
Vijayalakshmi performed with the students of TMI for Archana, a charity that raises funds for projects in India which are involved with improving healthcare, education, rural development, and social awareness.

Vijayalakshmi gave a talk on femininity in downtown Los Angeles, organised by a non-profit called Mentors & Mentees in collaboration with another non-profit involving survivors of sex trafficking.
