Vijayalakshmi performed for ‘ALAPIO’, Association of Los Angeles Physicians of Indian origin, a non-profit organization that runs free medical clinics for the uninsured and under-privileged in Southern California.
Vijayalakshmi Performs at CSULB
Vijayalakshmi performed at the Yadunanadan Centre For India studies, at CSULB, California State University of Long Beach. She gave an introduction to the technique and spirit of Mohiniyattam and also demonstrated the abhinaya aspect of the dance form. This was presented for the students and faculty of the Theatre Department and was followed by a Q and A.
